"After a number of years of illustrating for different publications and the like, I am now enjoying painting scenes of the Old West. Using many mediums, I paint in a realist style with close attention to the details of cowboy gear in the mid-nineteenth century and present day. I am inspired by the styles and imagination of Howard Terpning, David Grove, Bart Forbes, Cliff Spohn and Tucker Smith. My favorite subjects are the Old West cowboys and cowboys depicted in everyday scenes of cowboy life. The opportunity to transport someone back to this magical time in American History is the inspiration that drives me to paint."
